We know that Nola has a bad reputation. Here's our take on what to avoid ...

Bourbon Street

It's actually just a handful of blocks (ok maybe a half mile) of this single street that gives New Orleans its bad reputation. Bourbon from Canal (the border between the Quarter and the Central Business District) for approximately that half mile into the Quarter is what we avoid. Or cross or stroll for hilarity – it is an amazing people-watching situation.

Hand Grenades. Or "Daiquiries"

Giant machines pumping out slushie versions of "daiquiries" and anything titled a Hand Grenade is not your friend. Unless a hangover is.  Trust us.

* We're putting *daiquiry* in quotes because a  classic one is one of our favorite beverages.

that's it! We really do love this city

Just be smart and safe like you would literally anywhere in the world and Nola will welcome you with open arms.
